Could you check the motherboard revision of the MD2? Or maybe a pic of the underside of the unit which shows how far across the motherboard goes (it will be full width or 3/4 width).

Sure - how about a quick pic of the underside of the unit? Or even, when you turn it over you should be able to see the metal shield through the air vents - how far does it go across the unit? All the way, or only 3/4 way?
