Received two boards yesterday :thumbsup:. Thanks. I've got my MACH chips in their original sockets. So I guess I need to run more wires than 2, it's ok though as long as I know where I need to connect them to :)

Just to inform, I've successfully upgraded the other Apollo card that I purchased on here. I updated the original blog (link: Apollo 1260 MACH 130 / 131 myth busted!).

Hmm.. PST0/1 seem very interesting from my perspective. If I connect them to my scope channels I could monitor real time how well any particular routine utilises the superscalar pipeline. I may need to look more into this :cool: Cheers. Hope you get the boards fixed.

I was looking at the card that is my current work in progress and I cannot see any traces going from that pin to anywhere on the board. I tried to capture an image in a lighting that shows the traces inside the board. Also went through the board with a multimeter and found nothing connected to...

Yesterday I learned the hard way I shouldn't use the whatchamacallit plying tool with the mach 130 chip. The other end slipped out and brought a piece of the plastic casing with it and made a nice scrape. Luckily the chip is ok but I got a bit of a scare out of that one :). Turns out there might...
