It doesn't get much love but the A1200 was the best amiga in my opinion, it massively reduced the cost of adding a hard drive while giving the rest of the system a much needed boost; shame it was a few years too late.

Hi, Unless you can find a cheap 2nd hand 6core cpu there's nothing worth upgrading to..not even new ivybridge. Most i920's can be pushed to around 4ghz with a good cooler.

Pretty sure its around 38 in the UK; but it will look truly awful on modern TV's; I'm planning to get a SVideo lead for my amiga.

Hi, You can but the waiting times are pretty atrocious, i ended up getting a turbo chameleon just because of the wait time. I believe the ultimate1541 U2 is the most compatible system though.
