Thanks Hivernaal! I've contacted Amigakit, I will see what they can do ... I'll write also to you in the meantime :)

    Is my Amiga possibly dead?

OK, I've carefully checked both the motherboard and the ACA, and there are no burning marks whatsoever. I think the best thing is to send back the board and the ACA to Amigakit for further testing & repair, right? As for the PSU, I obviously need a new one. Should I buy another 'light' Amiga...

    Is my Amiga possibly dead?

Done! Being an international forum I didn't realize region was so important. Too late I'm afraid... I used my A500 PSU to fire up the miggy, without the ACA obviously. I had a quick glance at the motherboard and I honestly cannot see any burn marks - although I will have a more...

    Is my Amiga possibly dead?

Thanks Buzz, I will search for burnt areas. Unfortunately I do not have another A1200 to test my ACA... If I'm not able to fix this issue I will try to contact Amigakit, I will gladly pay for the repair.

    Ciao from Italy!

Hello everybody! Long time lurker here - trying to set up decent equipment to revive the old glorious Amiga days. I currently live in Italy but my wife is constantly trying to get me move to Scotland, only because she was born there! Who knows... One of these days, maybe  Cheers!
