Yeah they all use the same processor, just heat up the legs and they will sink into the solder, easiest way would be to heat 1 foot at a time and use a solder sucker or wick to remove the solder, then once you have got all that off, swap the processor and solder the feet back in, simples : P I...

Gah, I don't have a working one, BUT if you are good at soldering, you only need to put another processor on it and It should work fine, + the left alt key is missing, but you might want to pass on repairing this unless you need spares : P

Ah that is very very common, I had this problem with mine as soon as the structure underneath bends slightly, the whole plug will move, yeah it's very easy, heat up the solder and push the plug further in place, or better yet get another plug with a better underside structure, these ones aren't...

Did you get it during it's initial launch, or after Escom aquired Commodore?

Yeah, the 1200 power supplies were grossly underpowered, how could you expect to run a system with more powerful processors and a hard drive with a power supply of 25 watts? The amiga 500 had a 50watt power suppy and that's a weaker machine! I think there were some problems with the rev 2b...
