same here, speed drops with the mega board but it's ok for me. If I want speed I plug my blizzard. I just wanted a plain 68k with my A500+ but with some ram and an hd. Also I have maprom disabled and I use a 1.3-3.1 rom switcher but it doesn't fit anymore with the extra board.

A strange thing! just to mention it, no prob from me. Sometime ago I bought a Mega fast ram. It is a board that sits on 68k socket and gives you 2MB of ram. You can keep your existing 68k or swap it with a 010. I kept mine and I type the command to enable the ram. As a result I got 2MB chip (1...

Problem solved, it was the rom switcher socket. It was a bit high. I installed only 3.1 rom and it's OK although 68k touches the shield. Also another issue I've noticed is that on sysinfo I have 14MHz 68k with 1.49mips and when I mount the extra ram the clock degrades at 12MHz and 0.83 mips...
