if you just fill empty sockets with memory chips you'll get 2mb vram total, not 4. and more faster chip in pci trio64 family is v2/dx

pls post more about s3 trio64 memory upgrade to 4mb. never saw trio64 pcb with routed second ras signal. btw trio64v+ is not the fastest in trio64 family

missing bypass capacitor can't be reason for no post. but i see damaged avenger chip substrate right after this cap. looks like ths card has not quite good treatment in the past
