I have a ceramic 060 processor that i have had since the 90's , just have not found anything 'cheap' to put it in , and now the tf1260 is no longer an option i am looking.
as the footnote states i have a500 , a500+ , a600 , a2000 and a1200 to put it in so something for one of these would do.

What about waiting for new Warp1260 or Warp560?

too expensive , don't want to go into a sob story , but i just cannot justify ( or afford ) that expense . I did put 'CHEAP' in the post.

Hello,

I plan to sort out some Apollo 1240/1260 I have laying around.

It should be possible to make 3 good ones I think, so let me see this coming weekend and we can probably figure out something.

@sgreemo
just want to check that this cpu is ok. dug it out and it is an lc version . Hope it will do.

Yup, LC is fine - it can run about 60-75mhz depending on how lucky we are. I will check and see which crystals I have.

i also have xtals what do we need?

i have lots of 50mhz in 14pin dil format and 83mhz in 8 pin dil and an 83mhz and a 100mhz in smd.

I also have lots of 72 pin memory , edo and fpm , just not sure of mB sizes.

Just checked, have one set of xtals, so I can make something that works, then you add ram, cpu and xtal after.

I have regulator pcbs, so no problems. But yes the 060 is 3.3v.

Only do that if your board is not 1d4/1d1 - in my experience only the 2a/2b needs it.

It is and AMIGA Tek 1200 i bought from a catalogue returns shop in newtown in wales (where i was living at the time ). The revision is 2B .

I am confused !!!
The capacitors E123C and E125C are already missing ( not fitted at the factory! ) and R118 is already 220R ( smd 221 also factory fitted )!
In the chart it says " Yes to pin 43 of Alice (U2) " ( pin 43 of ALICE is DRA0 there is already a resistor factory fitted mod from pin2 of P9B second clockport connector to the DRA0 on R151J ) and further down it say's " (clockport P9A pin 6) to pin 46 of Paula (A30)! " but it is already connected via a track on the back of the board ( as shown on pcb explorer for A1200 rev 2B ) and it checks out!!!

so what am i missing????

pcb explorer a very very good tool!!!

Ok, I never did anything to Alice, by the looks of it you don't need to do anything on that board.

Btw, I have transplanted all smd components from one of the cards - proceeding to do the same for number two now.

All that will be left is through hole (cpu socket, simm sockets), but my new Hakko desoldering gun is stuck somewhere in Belgium, so I probably won't see that until wednesday next week.

Yeah, I never got so much stuff done [emoji23]

Anyway, two Apollos assembled - only needs cpu + simm socket(s).
