435... I knew I had a life!

That list is pretty stupid though. Generic sports games, DLC and re-makes/releases

271, but mostly in the top 500 (never been much of a fan of the newer console stuff, my PC does enough..)

really seem to be reaching to try to get to 1000 on that list tho....there's a good 200-300 i can entirely live without...and plenty (of course) not listed that i would put on there...

(i need to play Bookworm, Line Rider, Uno* and Slitherlink before i die? really?)

*does actually playing around a table with actual human beings count? can i still live? (in other words...i don't think computer games derived (or duplicated) from real card/board games really belong on a 'must before you die' list of computer games...)

260 (very low score but 80% of the games are for consoles).

Either way, there are hundreds of games there that I prefer to die than playing them. :D

Not a good selection of games in my opinion.

215.
I thought i would score more, but the list is well crafted. it has a wide variety, as well as some long forgotten games.
Nice.

unfortunately those lists are pretty much ALL 1 persons opinion....

there are a ton of games i would have instead of many that are on there...

some for their (somewhat) historical significance even though they might not be great games (ie: Play ET on the Atari 2600 just once before you die :P ) like Space Invaders*, or Dragon's Lair* (the original Arcade LaserDisc version of course)

which also would lead me to include games that really should be played...but also be played in thier original Arcade version....such as Mr. Do*, Dig Dug*, Joust*, etc (hell even Asteroids*)(tho most of those are actually on there, and are well represented, there are tons more...)

or early computer games that were just awesome (albeit at the time), ie: The Bilestoad (Apple II) (perhaps the original 'gore' computer game, the whole point to this game is to disarm (literally) and defeat your opponent by chopping off various body parts thereby removing his sword/shield and hacking him to death), Evolution.. Odyssey: the Compleat Apventure game (one of the first graphical adventure role playing games, and probably the first computer game i ever played)

also: games that were just fantastic to play....Uncharted Waters (NES/PC)....Military Madness (TG16) , Ys... Bards Tale...

(*i should also specify that although some of the games i have listed are included on the list....i can say, that as someone who grew up playing them in the arcades...they really need to be played in thier original arcade format...console ports, computer ports and even MAME just aren't the same experience, they should not only be played before you die..they should be played on the original arcade machines...preferably with the machine eating hundreds of your quarters while you try to break into the highscores list, also preferably with deafening music and the sound of hundreds of people cheering, cursing and banging machines in the background)

but again...any list like this is going to be all personal preference...

I don't consider myself much of a gamer, but I still ended up with a 98 which is more than I would have expected. Most of them were from the beginning of the list though and counts back to the C64 days..

406.:)

some games on there i would actually play again on pc like thief and its sequel.some lovely stealth parts in that.
actually...i think ive still got them somewhere,i'll have to check.

and i might want to play some of the metal gear games again.
and a few others,lol.

I thought I would score lower than the admittedly low 73 that I did score.

Nice trip down memory lane there though.

185. Most scored early in the list...

But there as so many games missing and far too much crud included.

485 - I noticed a trend that the more modern the games got, the less fondly I remembered them and the more generic the art syles looked. :(

567 for me.... not a bad list, but not too exhaustive, there are some titles missing, but by and large a good collection.

234 but I think I had more hits in the early parts of the list. Seems the dawn of the MMO's in the early 00's has reduced the number of other titles I play.
