I think it's a poor excuse...if he had to sell it then he should sell it for a fixed price and not place it in an auction aiming for the maximum profit.
And also i think he should sell it here to an amiga enthusiast and not on evilbay...
Really? Which forum was that then? The one for Atari losers? (Ohh.. Old wounds heal extremely slow.. haha)

I got in contact with Petro and requested an A1200. A bit more than a week ago I received an email from Petro with payment details and with some more contact, my brand new '95 Amiga 1200 will be shipping tomorrow
Only one minor, it seems there are missing some software titles and manuals.. Well, that's not the reason why I wanted one so that'll be just fine
He was asking me if I want a refund because of this or just continue with the order. Of course I told him it'll be fine. I don't care that much about missing software or manuals..

This is mine, arrived from petro on november.
Everything is in perfect condition excepting the inside cardboard that keeps the amiga stable in the box (look on the right of the second picture).

As you can see from the sign on the box and on the amiga, i bought it directly from Petro Tyschtschenko, ex president of Amiga Technologies.
WHiZZi also bought his A1200 from him.
Mine is from the first batch that he sold during the month of november (but he took the orders on October), WHiZZi's one is from the second lot.
Maybe it'll be a third lot, who knows, you can contact Petro on facebook and ask directly to him.

I received almost the same eMail as WHiZZi this week.
Petro refund me because I was only interested in that package to store it in my collection (for that, I wanted a full package with software and books). I already own A1200 in very good white condition that I paid the half of the Petro's nos magic pack...
But for someone who really want a new, this is probably one of the last chance to get one!!

yes, but it is again maybe 25 € more (with the post).
AND, the box I saw on the pictures he sent me are not so nice... (I understand that it was stored somewhere since 1995 but...). But when I see the pictures of your and other people, the boxes condition were really better.
I've the impression that I was one of the last to order one and that's also the last Amiga he has, probably the one that have the poorest condition he is trying to sale at last. (here, I only speak about box and accessory)
Why should I pay the same price to receive a lower quality with missing parts when other people received a clean complete pack. I was probably to late to order mine...
anyway, as it was for collectible purpose, it was not good enough for me. I would have been fully satisfied with one of the first batch like yours or one good from the second batch, definitively not with the one I saw on the last Petro's pictures.
It's a pity for me, I was already happy to receive mine :-(
