I have a faulty 1541 (board type 1540050 1982 rev c)
I have successfully repaired 1541 floppy drives in the past but this one is proving very difficult.
I suspect broken of corroded traces on the pcb ..having already found several which have been wire linked ..but still there are issues.
So rather than spend a lifetime wiring everything by hand I figured I might try and replace the pcb with one in better condition.
So ..
the actual drive is good ..
heads are good..
motors are good..
All tested by substituting another working pcb.
ALL the logic chips are good ..everything having been chip swapped (except the head amps and drivers)
I have spent hours retrofitting IC bases to over 80% of the board ..but still no fix.
So ..what Im after is a similar pcb ..
It doesn't have to be complete as far as chips are concerned..but the pcb has to be complete ..undamaged and in fair order ..as I can re-populate it myself.
A working one would just be a bonus..
Has anyone (preferably UK ..but not exclusively) have one to sell for a reasonable price ?
Id like to get this 1541 working again..but not at any cost ...so cost is a factor.
Im attaching a photo of my board for comparison..

Thanks for replying Exilent..
I guess any pcb around the same date/construction ...154XXXX
..So long as it will physically fit ..and more or less uses the same chips ..
..would do the job ..
For example ..I have another unit that is fitted with a 251830 pcb Assy 250442 rev A
I borrowed it ..
..and that one works just fine with the drive in question.
So no ..it doesn't have to be exact ..just close enough..
