Just to make sure I understand, you only want the m-ATX electronics not the metal chassis.

There's no urgency for the 1541 parts as it is an ongoing repair project, I very much appreciate the offer of the Jiffydos Rom for the C64 as I have never used it so will be fun to try it all out

Thread hijack: the floppy unit itself is an ordinary pc unit or completely proprietary? Can I just grab the controller + PSU boards and use a common 5.25" drive from pc world?

The 5.25" Floppy unit is proprietary unfortunately my friend, the stepper motor & R/W heads connect directly to the Mainboard and the Spindle motor has a unique PCB with onboard 300 RPM speed sync circuits simply activated with just a Motor on signal from the Mainboard.

Yes I only wan't the inside to put in my A4000 PSU. I tried atx but it is to big. Matx is not common, paying 40 eu for shipping from America is overkill. If you come up with a psu wich costs a lot, and it has a specific reason no problem. (like reason it is needed to power such overexpanded amiga)

I am not the tech guy, but I think it should have 5V specs? The original A4000 mentions 18A, and take it slow, I need to up paypal first.

It is all overstock and old. I do not have storage to keep it. I have to much stuff. The drive you have to reassemble is a very good and tested the other looks very bad.
