Closed 1541 Ultimate II - Tape Adapter Case

Just finished creating the 1541 Ultimate II Tape Adapter Case


This little guy obviously protects the small tape board that plugs into the cassette port with the ribbon cable that leads to the underside of the 1541 Ultimate II cartridge. Been getting requests for this to get done, so here it is.


I took styling cues from the Schema Wifi Modem case that I designed recently with the sloped case that leads to the connector that plugs into the computer. Hope you like it.

Hi, I was referring to the previous one I sent you.

Anyway I confirm the 2 power plates, the two joystick switcher cases with adjustable foot and the yellow bracket for my c64c with reloaded mainboard, plus the 2 tape adapter cases.

Do you want me to recap colours?

Just wanted to post an update that a fellow Commodore enthusiast has mailed me his original "wide" tape interface. Once I receive it, I'll be designing a case for that one as well, to allow owners of the older versions to also have a case for theirs.

Sure, I can do black. This is the list of colors I have:

Black, white, red, blue, green, grey, orange, purple, yellow, transparent.

Keep in mind, this case is for the 1541 Ultimate II tape adapters that look like this:



If your tape adapter looks different, then this case won't work with it. I will be developing cases for the other two styles of adapters shortly.
