Hello,

I have for sale two Commodore Archos PCMCIA Autoboot IDE 40 Pin External hard disk for Amiga 600 or Amiga 1200.

The units is second hand but is good working order. No hard disk inside but you can use a IDE 40 to compact flash adaptator and this will rocks to install a fresh Workbench install into the internal IDE port of your A600/A1200.

I asking 45€ for one unit + Shipping cost + Paypal fee (gift option)

These are my two last units after that no more will be avaible.

Sorry to butt into the thread, but would you be so kind as to take a picture of the internals? I couldn't google it out. I am interested if these drives have any kind of boot ROM inside (I guess they do, but would be nice to check out).

Not visibly, there is a small PCMCIA card sticking out, at the other end the IDE cable comes straight out. So there is no PCB inside. I'll snap a picture of mine in a minute and send you through PM.

Thank you for the pic, but it does not explain much. Hmmm, no any kind of small chip inside? No ROM? How does it autoboot... Can't possibly do it by magic... It's a mystery for me.
