(debated for a bit on whether or not to post anything)

So, while I did volunteer to send something to someone at personal expense without any promise of getting anything back, I have really found this experience to be unsatisfying. I shelled out cash to buy something, shelled out cash to ship this thing, all under the pretense that I'd be doing something that may be helpful to the community. I haven't been able to get one goddamn status update, other than basically saying the item was received way back in February.

So, guess I learned my lesson. End rant.

I would like to ask everyone here who is member of A1K.org or even more in touch with Ratte to ask Ratte how far is the Sonnet "re-production" project. Esc did amazing gesture and maybe not the public, but for sure HE deserves communication and updates from Ratte and his fellows. It is very rude from him just "receiving" gifts and not being open with development at least open for the donator.

Hello Ryan,

the project is unfortunately a bit more complicated than expected. After I sent inquiries with photos, unfortunately,
no useful offers were made. Either there were cancellations or it was expensive and the card would have been destroyed.
Everything without success guarantee. I can not reconcile that with my conscience and my wallet. Actually,
the card should be back with you in the next few days. I sent you a package about 2 weeks ago.

It would be nice if Ryan confirmed the receipt of the parcel.
His efforts were not completely in vain, in the package is a small reward for his efforts.
And yes, first and foremost we were busy with our house remodeling.

Hey, thanks for returning. I actually just finally received it, I assume customs wanted to inspect the treats you packed . Bummer you couldn't figure out a way to reverse engineer it, but I appreciate you sending it back. I also appreciate the holiday goodies you sent - it was very kind. Have a great holiday!

That someone would be me! The 'dead' sonnet is currently away being fixed and tested. However, if it subsequently turns out that it cannot be fixed then I would gladly donate it to ratte or others who might find a way to use it to make reproductions.
