Hi all,

As I don't play as many games as I used to, I just decided to upgrade my graphics card to a lower power consumption model, so now have these two to move on.

They have been great and have played all the games I have thrown at them in high detail. In Crossfire Hitman: Absolution ran pretty well :)

Specs for the cards can be found here http://www.hisdigital.com/un/product2-536.shtml, but in brief:

ATI Radeon™ HD 5770 System Requirements
  • PCI Express® based PC is required with one X16 lane graphics slot available on the motherboard
  • 450 Watt or greater power supply with one 75W 6-pin PCI Express® power connectors recommended (600 Watt and one6-pin connectors for ATI CrossFireX technology in dual mode)
  • Certified power supplies are recommended. Refer to http://ati.amd.com/certifiedPSU for a list of Certified products
  • Minimum 1GB of system memory
  • Installation software requires CD-ROM drive
  • DVD playback requires DVD drive
  • Blu-ray playback requires Blu-ray drive
  • For an ATI CrossFireXTM system, a second ATI RadeonTM HD 5770 graphics card, an ATI CrossFireX Ready motherboard and one ATI CrossFireX Bridge Interconnect cable per graphics card are required
As I mentioned earlier, I have run them in Crossfire mode, and they have offered excellent performance, but the power consumption, and the fact my PSU is 650w has made me change them to reduce the risk of overloading my pSU (I have 5 hard disks in my rig ). They perform every bit as well (in crossfire) as my new card, so I did question whether to send the new card back and keep these

Both cards have been thoroughly cleaned (Fan and fan cover removed) with compressed air and an anti-static electronics brush and now look like new ;)

Whilst the pictures don't show all the accessories, both cards will have:

1 x VGA- DVI adapter
1 x 6 Pin PCI-e power cable
1 x Crossfire bridge

Both cards have the original driver CD (which by now will be eons out of date) and the BF2 flyer. Card #1 is missing the install guide.

Price wise:

Card #1 £48 inc. 2nd Class postage. (Was £55, then £50 inc. p&p)
Card #2 £48 inc. 2nd Class postage. (Was £55, then £50 inc. p&p)Card sold outside amibay

If you wanted both cards - £95 posted via courier (Was £105, the £100 inc. p&p).

If you are located offshore (this does include the IoW), in the Highlands
or anywhere else in the world, please contact me for a postage price. I will make a discount equivalent to UK postage.

All advertised for sale elsewhere, including the other bay!

Sales terms:

1) Following a declaration of interest, initial contact (a PM) is due within 24 hours. If no contact is made, I reserve the right to move on to the next in line.

2) Once all questions have been answered and my payment details have been provided, payment is due within 24 hours. If no payment is received (without further contact) I reserve the right to move on to the next in line.

3) Where free postage is offered via a standard service, payment is to be made via gift. All payments where no shipping insurance is opted for must be made via PayPal as a gift. If selecting shipping insurance then the buyer has the option of paying the fees. In the event that non-insured shipping is selected and the buyer pays the fees, the payment will be refunded and the sale declared void.

4) Once an item has been sent (usually next working day after payment received), the buyer will be PM'd tracking information where this is available, otherwise a PM to notify of posting will be sent. The thread will be updated.

5) Shipping costs are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Please be aware, I'm not a trader, just play with computers and tech as a hobby and clear out bits as well as whole laptops and other kit from time to time, these laptops are sold as seen, with no warranty either expressed or implied, as with classified ads. Unlike classified ads, I'll help out where I can and may even have some spare parts to assist with a repair/fix if needed. Just so you know

I'll add that both of these cards in Crossfire will be fine with a decent branded 600W+ PSU (The 5770/6770 is rated at 108w). A 5770 can also be paired with a 6770 in case anyone didn't know .
