I've been having a bit of a clear-out recently, so here are a couple of A1200s for sale. These have been put together from parts, so I can offer the best condition complete units.

Both are in good working order and have been reasonably extensively tested by me. Tests include:
  • Composite and RGB video work (I haven't tested the RF output though)
  • Audio works
  • All keys on the keyboard work
  • Floppy drive heads cleaned and tested working
I've fitted a 4GB hard disk to each machine and set up a 250MB ClassicWB lite partition and used the rest of the disk as a data partition, formatted with SFS and a newer version of scsi.device placed in DEVS: (I think that's all that's required to support the full 4GB, but it's worth double-checking before you commit any important data to the disk!)

They come complete with a 5-disk set of Workbench 3.0 (again, all disks tested, and ADF backups are provided on the hard disk.)

Kickstart ROMs in both are 3.0 (39.106). They're supplied with an original A1200-style mouse and a UK A500 PSU which will (apparently) provide 4.5A on the 5V rail. The PSUs themselves aren't in quite as good shape as the Amigas, but are basically in fair condition. Both were quite yellowed, but I've retr0brighted them.

The first one is the slightly better condition model, it was a clean white when I received it, whereas the second one has been retr0brighted by me. It's much better now, but not quite as good as the first one. The first one also has a marginally larger hard disk (Something like 4.7GB vs. 4.3GB), the composite video output is slightly sharper and AntiClick works on the floppy drive of the first one, but not the second one!

Prices include fully insured UK postage; packaging and any PayPal fees. For EU shipping add £20. For international shipping, ask me, but don't expect it to be cheap! These will need to be couriered to you, so it may take me a week or two from purchase for me to find some time to be at home for a courier pick-up.

No, the TV, the original iMac and the A3000 in the photos are not included in the sale! :p

Thanks for looking!

Interested in amiga 2. Please let me know about international shipping.

Best quote I've got for insured shipping to the USA is from a courier called AirCityPost. Total cost will be £130 for Amiga 2 to be shipped to you. You should be aware that you may end up with import duty/customs charges levied as well.

For what it's worth, these are both PAL Amigas. If you don't want the UK power supply, I can probably remove it from the parcel (although that does mean unwrapping it all!), but I doubt it'll make any difference to the shipping cost. It's certainly of little use to you in the US!

Out of curiosity, would this work for a converter? [SNIP] Non-auction link HERE

Deal reached with kadjikahn for Amiga #1. Money received and the courier collected it from me earlier this afternoon. All being well, it'll be with you within about five days.

Amiga #2 is still available.

I'm interested in Amiga #2 as well, but am located in New Hampshire (USA). How much would shipping cost there? If it's £120 like it was for the person from Brasil then I'll withdraw my interest. Thanks!

It'll be the same as the quote I gave for kadjikahn. Total cost to you, including Paypal fees, shipping and insurance will be £130. Can't imagine shipping to NH is any different to shipping to MD.

Be aware, these are PAL Amigas, so make sure that'll work for you. You'll need to replace the PSU as the one shipped is a 230v UK one. A supply from an A500 will work just fine. You should also be aware that you may also be charged import duty or customs fees.

Ok,..it´s so expansive to me. I'll withdraw my interest. Thanks!

Thanks for your interest, Ricardo. Sadly, shipping to Brazil is crazy prices. Our own Rogério knows this all too well. :(

Over to you, happycanuck! I'll PM you some details shortly.
