Hello, I'm working a goofy project (adding XT drive to A2091) and I'm looking for a 32MB or less hard drive.

Note: MB not GB!

I'm looking for an XT IDE drive. Form factor/size does not matter. My current test with a DOM IDE 32MB is not working. I think it' related to the driver though. If I can find an old HDD, I'd like to test against that.

Thanks, I did not think of that. I'll need to dig around in my old media box for a low end CF drive.

I do wonder if going XT >>> IDE/CF adapter >>> CF is going to be too much for the system to keep track of.
Actually CF-IDE is one of the best choices because it's the closest to true IDE, no extra chips like on SD devices

If you are looking XT drive it is NOT the same as today IDE hard drive. No CF or DOM or any other interface will work.
XT is the first 8bit interface and it is different that later AT (ATA) 16bit interface today known as IDE/PATA.
You must look for specifically XT drive. And there is no modern equivalent for that.
XT pinout is different than AT (IDE) pinout.
Here is the list of XT drives.
Also as you can check here
The boot rom V7 and later of A2091 does not support XT.

In the early days there were winchester drives first, and they were heavy and HUGE....

I remember the first HDDs I've seen were about 20MB of storage. And they didn't have the old standard IDE/PATA connectors.
