For that kind of cost wouldn’t it make more economic sense to order an injection molded 1200 case for significantly less? Or are you targeting colors not avaliable? I have a translucent purple 1200 case on order. Not sure I would trust a 3D printed case.
I also think about injection molding for the cases. The good nice coloured A1200 cases are sold pretty well.
Can you advise some manufacturers for that?

I ordered mine from retropassion.co.uk but you can get the same case in translucent blue or green and apparently shipping today elsewhere, even eBay. I was tempted to grab a blue translucent case. You never know when these things will go poof, sell out to never be offered again.

Out of curiousity, when will you sell the CD32 case design files?
Just released them :)

Now there is also an Amiga CD32

I am now waiting for some 3d-printed parts to confirm that it can be assembled.
Anyway, the files are already available.

Nice work! I could use a new 4000 keyboard enclosure and front cover. Did anyone print these yet?

Hi, about this A4000 keyboard case design, After buying the files from you, and submitting them to JLCPCB for printing, they have come back to me warning of a very high probability of warping due to the design. Can you confirm you or anyone else has had this printed successfully? This is what they have said:

Hello customer,
We hope this email finds you well. :)
Sorry to bother you, but there are some details that we need to confirm with you about your 3D printing order before proceeding.
As shown below,

the parts has high risks of deformation and warping because of the geometry, will this risk be acceptable for you? Shall we proceed as per your files?
Usually, for flat parts, frame parts, enclosures with no strong ribs inside, and large unoccupied areas parts, and the models could be shrinking to the center and warping to the diagonal lines and edges. Kindly recommended that it is better to increase the thin wall thickness at least 3.5mm ,and add strong ribs to strengthen the structure of the parts.

Hello

They always reply something like that. They are usually not responsible for small defects so they ask something like that. Usually their quality is reasonably good anyway. If something is bad(scratches, holes etc) they warn about that with pictures after the printing.
Take a look on Amiga 1200 pictures before, they printed that case. It is as huge as this keyboard. And its important that such huge parts are anyway much more deformable than small ones. Generally, FDM printing gives more stable results but the quality of the surface is much worse.

You know who can print the back of the A1000 like this, and possibly the front? I appreciate any advice, thanks.
Michele
Hi!
I am doing Amiga 1000 model right now. Already used this model and made front one.
Here is it:

However I plan to upload the model when it will be fully ready :)

Hi

Yes, I can. Though, it is better to wait until Amiga 1000 case project will be finally released.

It is almost ready by the way :boing::check:

I have original Amiga 1000 case, but the front and back are destroyed, that's why I would like to replace them, if you can print them for me I would be grateful, of course I want to pay for the work

My JCLPCB resin print of the A4000 keyboard case came in. Here it is, it's not perfectly flat, but once the legs are connected and used, you wouldn't notice that much. Quality is pretty good, once the two half's are put together it helps the rigidity of the whole thing. All in all not bad at all.

I'm in EU for now so I can lend(or order) A3000 front bezel from someone for redrawing and I'll send it back. I'm in Slovenia.
My ultimate goal is to make new models from the rewards of previous models :)
I know its an old post but, I do have a A3000, I live in the Netherlands. PM me, maybe we can arrange something if you like.

Seems nice. What material did you use for this?

Do you have the legs for the keyboard as a seperate file? I have an a3000 keyboard, but its missing the legs.
