Hi,

I am looking for the exact same card I have pictured here so I can SLI two of these cards together. I'm located in Greece, let me know if you have this exact model.

Thanks

Most Voodoo2 cards come with 12MB of memory. However, manufacturers like Diamond Multimedia and Creative Labs released both 8MB and 12MB versions of the Voodoo2. Since yours is a Diamond Multimedia model, you need to provide a picture of the back to verify which version it is.

It's the 12mb version. I've had it since childhood :)

Regarding Voodoo2 with SLI, if you're looking for identical cards, it's easier to find with other brands, but Diamond Multimedia is the most difficult.
1. The PCB boards come in multiple versions: A, B, C, D, E and blank.
2. The vRam varies between Silicon Magic, Mosel, EtronTech, and in many cases, there are cards with mixed memory on a single card.
3. Some cards may or may not have external resistors. (There is one on your card)
4. Previously mentioned 8MB and 12MB variants.
5. If you look closely, the PCI gold finger also vary depending on the version.
I will check my Diamond voodoo2s later.
However, the chances are quite slim.

It's also worth noting that the Fastvoodoo2 drivers allow for mismatched vendor and ram configs. The highest ram config card will reduce to match the lower if applicable.

I checked, and there is no exact match. Regarding the Diamond 12Mb, I only have a pair of B versions that are quite similar. There’s also a single E which has different memory brand, and there is no external resistor.

For SLI to work they just need to be the same brand. Unless you want exactly the same for good feeling ;)

You have already mentioned it and of course it's true. But usually most prefer two the same cards ;)

I just wanted to respond about the exact match thing.

I think I found an exact one, but dead :picard:
Mosel VRAM, 12Mb, Rev.A, with external resistors, color of capacitors, even if the date of main chips and memory chips, but dead :picard:

Sorry, I don’t know either.

I’m more experienced when it comes to finding Voodoo cards, but I’m a beginner when it comes to repairs—usually I can only fix things if the issue is with resistors. Unfortunately, based on my testing, the resistors seem fine…

Near the large GENDAC chip on the front left side, about four components are missing. It looks like the previous owner also attempted a repair, and it seems he failed…
