ST M29F160FT / 55N3 / 99A01 VS / MYS 99 120 von Mouser (913-M29F160FT55N3E2)
i assume 5V and 55ns like all of them in TSOP48, pin compability with eeprom makes the PCB i think?
These are the same as used by me, should work without any programmer firmware modifications. I will be back at home on friday and will check if I have all necessary parts to build next batch.

Will these work in A1200 or where there are 2 rom chips, if programmed hi and lo?

Theoretically two modules in parallel should work but better solution would be to use one active module and second one with passive (jumper) controlled bank selection connected to the first module. I will do some tests during the weekend to confirm this.

Hello. therefore i am still interested in 1x programmer.
Greetings from Austria

I was completely overwhelmed with my full time job duties and will be able to take care of Amibay matters on first days of November, sorry :(.

Declaring interest.

Declaring interest in:

x1 Memory module 4 bank x 512KB
x1 Programmer with ZIF socket
x1 A500 keyboard adapter with buffered reset output.

Question: I have a TL866II plus, can I program the memory module with this?

You will probably not be able to use TL866 without some additional expensive adapters. I build my own programmer because I wasn't able to program the memory with my TL866 programmer which I have too,

Hello bfgmatik, I forgot to mention I also have this adapter: TL866 Plus MiniPro EPROM Adapter Adapter 27C322 27C160 27C800 27C400. Your however has three wires, mine does not. If the adapter is not good then I will update by declare interest to also include an adapter :)

29F160 memories are different technology than 27C, they are electronically erasable (no need for UV) and dont need high voltage for programming. It may be programmable in TL866 but you probably need different adapter. I never tried to program these memories in TL866 using additional adapters. As far as I know, there are adapters which allow to program these memory chips directly but not as kickstart modules.

Ok, I have added the programmer in my declare interest post. Thank you 😊
