Parcel received today, and console works great! Thanks man :)
Feedback has also been left.

Got mine works fine :)

Am I remembering things wrong or was Sonic 1 a total bag of slowdown? It's like playing in slow motion no matter if it's 50 or 60 hz (maybe I have a dodgy rom?)... will try the real cart out later. Sonic 2 on the other hand at 60hz belts along waaaaay faster than I remember (but I guess I remember slow ass 50hz pal).

Sonic 1 is fast on 60Hz, but slow on 50Hz (=blue borders at top and bottom).

Buy a real 60Hz Genesis if you want to play NTSC games, a modded 60Hz Megadrive is never really accurate, and you'll get artifacts etc.

Something wrong with the rom I think, tried the real cart now and it works fine at 60hz no slowdown at all.

Ok.

Just for your info : The masterclock osc is different in a Genesis (53.6931Mhz) vs a Megadrive (53.203Mhz), hence the CPU speed is also different (53.6931/7=7.67Mhz) vs (53.203/7=7.61Mhz).
This means that when you mod a Megadrive to 60Hz it will not run it at exactly the same speed as a Genesis.
Most people don't notice... but there is a difference.

Some Megadrives I've modded show artifacts for some games when running at 60Hz due to this.
