Hi there,

I'd like to buy memory for 68000 CPU socket, in the kind of Kipper A504/A508

Can be with IDE/CF card reader, but can as well be just memory only.

Bumping, still looking For Kipper A504/A508 (or similar autoconfig CPU slot fastram), can be without IDE :-).

Found: Got pinged by tbtorro via PM (thx!) about Kipper2k A508; will work out the payment in ~48h.

Kipper seems to have all kinds of stuff on his page, but no way to buy it?

To be honest I do not know :-). I've sent an email to Kipper also at start of May, before starting this thread: I asked to get A1000 riser + info about A508ide availability (his website says he is waiting for parts for A508ide) but I still got no reply yet... I guess he is overwhelmed and too busy - does lots of great stuff and probably overloaded with inquiries, I can guess it is all about Vampire 600. And I am going away from the topic of this discussion, but I'd say (my personal opinion :-) ) that both guys building Vampires perhaps could rethink strategy and let be offloaded by other Amigan "builders" to help them do the job :) - if not doing full assembly, then maybe soldering some parts and sending to them to give last touch like soldering the Vampire CPU :). I have no A600, but wonder how is it going to be when Vampire A500 and A1200 arrives :-), I expect lot more people wishing to buy it then V600 (I am interested myself in both V500+V1200).

All in all, right now I do not know how to buy from Kipper :-). Besides, I anyways preferred to get "real" IDE connector instead of CF - and found one board, it's on its way to be tested :-). So, it was good to combine it with missing part, auto-config CPU memory, so I've started this tread to look just for memory :). Luckily, tbtorro has A508 without IDE :-). Well, I just hope that when I assemble all pieces of the "sandwich" it is going to work together :).

And for the A1000 CPU riser... I've ended up getting help from colleagues from polish Amiga forum, and designing custom one myself with their help :-). I did not order to "print" the riser circuit-board just yet... waiting for this last part - memory - to do final measures and check if my design is going to fit everything together :-).

Well, that's my boring story :-).
