👋Hey JHanna,

> Everything works fine when running the BFG9060 at 50MHz.

I don't have a 4000T, but ran my BFG in a 4000D with PIV, DENEB, Ariadne, and (more relevant to your scenario) an A4091.

I also encountered SCSI errors that were more reproducible with the BFG at 100MHz. I measured +5v at one of the Zorro cards with a multimeter, noted that it was low, and bounced around when wiggling the Molex connector at the motherboard. :picard: So I could hold the connector in a direction that provided better contact, and the problem would disappear.

I don't know if this issue is as common with the 4000T, but might be worth a look if you haven't already ruled it out.

Thanks! That's pretty interesting. As soon as I bought the A4000T the first thing I did was replace the PSU with a new Corsair ATX unit and a custom modular cable made by a guy on here. I didn't for the option of the -5V signal, as apparently no Amiga cards ever needed it, but I wonder if the A4000T actually does need it somehwere...

Funny you mention that. I've been thinking that maybe there just is no fix. I've read so my stories from A3000 owners having SCSI nightmares. I suppose I haven't heard from many A4000T owners because there aren't very many of us.

Such a nightmare.
I agree, more people should own a 4000T🤔

Anyone?

Still struggling with this 12 months later. 😞
Have you tried another BFG, perhaps from a different builder? They can be sensitive at 100mhz. Are you sure you have the most recent firmware on the BFG?

I use it.
Didn't notice any problem. But I use it in A4000 desktop, not Tower.
If you do not have eprom programmer I can help.
EDIT:
First try the 68060.library from Cosmos and check if that resolve your problem.
