Recieved the card, installed it and everything works fine.

However I can't seem to use an ide ribbon cable between the card and cf adapter, I have tried two IDE cables and all i get is the blue light, it's constant and not blinking like when the cf adapter is directly connected to the IDE header.
I also don't understand what the oktagon/oktopussy switch enables/disables.

Octapussy (jumper closed)is for Kickstart 2.04 and above, Octagon (jumper open) is for Kickstart 1.3
Keep in mind Kickstart 1.3 can not operate Fast File System, so OFS (Old File System) should be used instead.
If blue led is on permanent - propably your cable is plugged wrong way around or it has pin 20 missing (no power)

Uhm... Weirdly enough my board boots and works perfectly on my A2000 with KS 1.3 with the jumper closed and with an FFS-formatted card!

However, in my quest for an accelerator, IDE and memory for the CDTV I’m running into dead ends...

Idle hope, but...
Does it also not autoboot with kickstart 3.1? I’ve fitted the CDTV with a kickstart switch (extended roms 2.30)

Haven't tried it yet, my CDTV is equipped with 1.3 KS and v.1 extended roms

If no one can try before, I'll try once the queue gets to me as I have the same config (3.1 + 2.30 roms) in a CDTV.
