For the person who gets the last unit there is a small crack above the drive tray, it's very small but I noticed it when checking so wanted to make you all aware.

Otherwise I can see no further damage on that or any damage on any other unit.

Shipping to France is £17.50 with Parcelforce

I will let you know if one is available, I think maybe you will get one as some before you have high shipping quotes.

Maybe fair to keep it only 1 unit per person since the amount of interest.

AFAIK the MD1 will also use the metal plate, I will check exactly how many of these I have as the last few units will probably be without, of course it still works without but the connection between both is not as strong.

Can wait till Friday for the payment but this will be the latest I expect payments for these units

(This gives a clear 72hrs for all PM's, etc to be done )

Hey Steve, Not certain but I seem to recall the MCD1 and 2 having different plates? Just something I thought was worth mentioning. I'm not certain though, its been a while since I owned either model.

The MegaCD II does indeed have a different mounting tray but that's not applicable here as I am selling MegaCD I's and the OP is asking if he needs a metal tray to use his MDI

@ SLK, just FYI they aren't mandatory and will work fine with or without. The plate just keeps them together more securely.
