A big thank you!

Hey there folks,
It's been nearly two months since my father-in-law was diagnosed with a heart problem, and needs a bypass surgery. Now, the long wait is over, and he's getting hospitalized tomorrow to undergo surgery on Thursday.
This whole year up to now has been a living hell, with major health problems both personal and family. But this case is the worst -if one could weight things up on a scale.
The reason i posted this, is to show once again what a great bunch the Amibay community members are. My friends Leonidas (Keropi) and Marios (Mfilos) were kind enough to be blood donors for this difficult operation.
And my friend Frank (Skyrunner) has arranged for required blood-platelets.
So, all i wanted to say, is a big THANK YOU to all of you. ΕΥΧΑΡΙΣΤΩ!
No matter what the outcome will be, i know you folks care, and did the best you could. :thanks::thanks::thanks:

My father went through this operation 4 years ago, it was long & hard but today he's in great shape and even doing some sports!

The surgery will commence tomorrow 08:00 hours at the 401 Hellenic Army hospital. He's now in God's hands, but also in the hands of the Navy and Army's top two heart-surgeons. The main thing we're really worried about is the fact that he is a diabetic. I'll keep you all posted.

Thanks Spyros! We had a delay in the surgery which was supposed to take place yesterday; but another more urgent incident happened, and took priority over ours.
Anyway, the operation began at 08:00 hours and lasted till 15:00
All went well, and he is now in intensive care. Depending on his body's strength, he might wake up tomorrow, although the docs doubt it considering he's also a diabetic.

Thanks once again fellas! He's been out of intensive care since Saturday afternoon. Everyone's surprized with his rapid recovery, although a really painful situation. The surgeons ordered he makes small walks once or twice a day at the hospital's hallway. Most every 'interface' he's been plugged to has been removed, except of a small monitor that records temp, pulses and pressure. While in I.C. i was allowed a short visit, and i admit i've never seen so many peripherals and tubing around a person.
Complete recovery can take up to 6 months, but he's taking it courageously.
We've plenty of fixes for him on hold, including a laser job on his right eye which sadly will lose sight soon, and another surgery for a stenosis of arteries on both his legs. Now you folks understand why i haven't been very active on the projects front. And he's not the only case i'm running on.
Mom's still on chemo, she's got an eye surgery on the 9th, the Mrs. has been through a poly-removal surgery on both vocal chords, and my dad is due for a pacer around September/October. :double
