Really? I know Maus personally and he is a trustworthy person. Apart from that, I know this Amiga 4000 and it is absolutely fantastic condition!

Remember, this beauty has a rare 4000Cr rev. D board!

Ok. That is what I needed to "listen". Sorry for the inconvenience....I saw some banners and I got a little bit scared.

Interested.Now 2nd in line.

There was some missunderstanding.
I ask about shippment cost and other photos, and some info (about money at this moment).
but after receiving PM from Maus I wrote that "I'm still interesting" in all of this (on HIS rules)

Strange

As I wrote to You I confirmed in your offer that I'm interested and waiting for shipping cost to me.

Can i get some help from an operator?
It was a silent bidding and i don;t agree with that:unsure:
You offerde me in your pm 500 inc shipping
I asked 500+shipping

No, it was not silent bidding - I just wrote to you that I have at this moment some money, but after your reply I confirmed your offer waiting for shippment costs and additional photos.

I will wait for admins/mods decision in this.

EDITED:
@Maus - there was "At this moment..." and replied I confirmed your offer.

After friends opinion I am definitely whitdrawing this offer - too many misunderstanding and pressure of time to sell (imho - seller-side).

I am a little bit confused with this situation...

Besides, I have been looking for A4000D rev. D and I have a question, just for clarification:

http://amiga.resource.cx/mod/a4000.html

It says the following:
rev D cost reduced ()A4000/040 with 68LC040 on A3640 v3.1
  • the place of the 68030 and FPU is left empty
  • only the 28 Mhz oscillator is installed, the 50 MHz signal is taken from the A3640
  • no socket is provided for the 50 MHz oscillator which is required when installing an asynchronous processor board in place of the A3640
Chip RAM is soldered to the motherboardsocketed Super Buster 11non-rechargeable lithium batteryconnector for replacement batteryWhat does

  • no socket is provided for the 50 MHz oscillator which is required when installing an asynchronous processor board in place of the A3640
mean?Is easy to fix this? I think CSMK2 is asynchronous processor board, is it?
The 68LC040,is it a low cost version of the 68040? less powerful than a normal 68040 on a A3640?

I think it is worth to clarify this point before anything and seeing what happened.

@qq1975b

You are not the only one that is confused :double

As I see it - qq1975b declared interest first.

Then withdrew his interest.

Tom_Rain then stated interest followed by qq1975b again.

So first in line appears to be Tom_Rain.

If Tom_Rain has not offered the full asking price then Maus is allowed to move on to the next in line.

Please don't turn this thread into a public arguement.

Any questions drop me a PM.

Dave G

Only Maus can tell you for sure; but I believe the information on the hardware database is slightly wrong in this case. The revision for the (onboard) 030 and the LC040 is identical (mainboard) which means that the 50Mhz crystal might be missing from the board, but the socket (or at least the holes) will be there.
But reading from Maus' description it was a former 030 model with the 030 removed at a later moment; that means it is highly likely that the 50Mhz crystal will be in place. That probably also means the 040 is not original from this machine, which makes it quite possible you are dealing with a normal 040 and not an LC version.

Speedwise the LC and "full" versions are identical; the LC version just lacks the FPU. (LC = Low Cost). The EC version misses both the FPU and the MMU.

EDIT: I just checked. If there is no 50Mhz crystal, or ever was, it does require some soldering, if Maus is not up to the challenge I will offer to do this for you if need be.

:( That's a problem to be able to upgrade it with another CPU board like, I think, the CSMK2.
It is a really low cost A4000 motherboard

Actually it's the nicest 4000 board you can find. They never have battery leakage, they always have (from factory) kickstart 3.1 and buster 11. It is the last revision made. I (and many others) strongly prefer this above a normal revision B board.

They will work fine with any turbocard, provided you add a 50mhz crystal. My offer to help out if needed is still open, I can solder a socket if you need it.
