I've found the exact W&T interface I was looking for elsewhere and it works out cheaper than shipping the one you offered me from the USA.
As a result of this, I won't be needing the one you kindly offered me. Thanks anyway, and I hope you are OK with this.

Thanks Heather. I'm so made up about this it's untrue.....
All I need now is a printer ribbon for the M1009 and once the adapter arrives, I'm taking the whole setup down to my Dad's, so that I can mess with his head. It's a perfect re-creation of the setup he had back in the '80s and I can guess what his reaction will be.....:woot:
