Also has a power LED light. I had that put in because, sometimes the system will stay on, even after you turn off the power. But now I'll know when that happens

I have never seen one of these before and did not know what it was until I saw the pictures on here. You did the right thing in rescuing it, true recycling :p

I have said it before on the forums about tips/recycling centers in the UK. Anything electrical or for that matter anything can't be removed from the site. It's the usual health and safety blah blah blah.... But the staff down on the site will willingly SELL you the stuff they collect from the tip, they even have a little shed which they might as well have a sign out side saying OPEN on. It is sickening when I see some good looking stuff piled up on the paving.

Anyway, well done on saving it :-)

Hmm....I thought everyone knew about these. They are much nicer than the orignal NES toaster, as you don't have to jiggle with the cartridge for it to work, and you never have to replace the 72-pin connector.

I also thought I should let people know (since you didn't) that this IS official Nintendo Hardware
