Hey guys,
I'm looking for an A1000 keyboard. For a good, working one I'm happy to pay well, but I could also use any old beaten and broken one as long as it has at least most of the key switches still there.
I bought a good looking keyboard a while ago, but it turned out to have a bit of water damage inside as you can tell by the attachment. The metal frame I have already cleaned and repainted, but unfortunately some of the switches are rusty on the inside, and they are way too hard to clean without breaking at least some of them. So I need some extra ones for spare parts.
Alternatively if anyone knows what this switch type is exactly and if it's used in certain PC keyboards, let me know
It's mentioned in several places that the A1000 keyboard uses Cherry switches, but these don't match any Cherry switch type I have managed to find so I'm starting to wonder...
Any help greatly appreciated!
