I hooked up my recently happy finding the A1000.

It awoke, it had some feeling to it, "it sounded a little surprised:roll: to wake up" (video output was a little strange first time, that also caused because it's not the right graphic output for my country, but display also did other strange stuff) Well Amigamaniac adapter does the job to.

After a couple of times on/of it's already accepted that a complete retirement is over:ninja::ninja::ninja::ninja::ninja:

It does not wan't workbench but a kick disk.

Only have these files in "archive": Do not know what to do with them... Not going to emulate an amiga, since I have more then enough machines, Would like to test drive the A1000..

If anybody could help me or give a link to have a quick run to get this machine to boot.

Oh do I need to do any maintenance? it's kind of smelly unit, it gives the old electronics smell, like it would have done brand new, but it can't be new :(

(not like burning, but like using, or maybe loosing some dust..)

Still displaying properly the kick request screen ;)

It might be best thing to do, here are the only action pics it's doing for know, not much

I noticed there is only one red led, it is certainly not giving much light.. same with the drive led..

That LED could be one of 3 faults...

1: LED is on the way out.

2: A cap may be faulty or blown.

3: PSU issues.

That's the only options I can think of anyway. :)

Txs for thinking with me.. The drive led is not much brighter.. I would bed on option 1, but will open the machine in time..

If the caps look ok and are not leaking, I am not going to do anything about it, just wanted to have this machine, not for daily use, so a led that is old and gives less light, does not disturb much, as long it is not destroying the system..

have other more common amiga types to do the work for me.

Option 3 would prove itself in time while using it a little ?
