I've got an a 1200, [FONT=arial, sans-serif]ACA 1221EC accelerator, PCMCIA adapeor, working floppy. All works well booting from an SD card. Thecorfiot had an image he imaged to my 8gb SD card. all good.[/FONT]
[FONT=arial, sans-serif]However, that image seems very basic and functional; i want to add games, which means (I think) adding PCMCIA CF support and fat95 drivers,or PC-written floppy support, plus I would like to run a prettier desktop. Also the A1200 has an Indivision mk2 so I want to get its own setup files onto the SD.[/FONT]
[FONT=arial, sans-serif]Here's my standard Amiga/ classic wb whinge - I don't get why its 2 steps forwards, 1 back every time! I ran classic wb install in winuae, got that going, try to format the sd card - think it has actually detected the shape of the card for once, but nope, then somehow knacker the hardfile itself and have to start again. Then I read that i need a different file system for an 8gb card. Go through hdtools(?), try follow Fitzsteves (great!) videos and get lost..I think its working but winuae now tries to boot from the blank SD card.. I watch Steves videos a bit more and then find I need a working Amiga 3.9 hardfile (and its hdtools) to format the 8gb sd card. Catch 22![/FONT]
