Hello,

i have for sale a complete solution for an A1200 in original desktop with CD-ROM and some improvement to make easy the set up of strong accelerators, like BlizzardPPC and BVision. No motherboard, PSU, Floppy or other cards are included.
The fans are power regulated and the jack on the side is the audio plug from the CD-ROM, then a reset key and the extra power plug.
The four USB plugs are ready to be used (you need a properly usb card for the A1200); alternatively you can use the CF adapter or nothing (a simple white cover).
On the inside, under the keyboard, there is a shell with a Sata > IDE adapter, ready to receive a 2.5" SATA disk.
The keyboard is clean and like new: the picture show some dust on the keys.

To install the A1200 motherboard is not so easy, it need some precautions and patience.

I will ship this item with instructions and i will offer full support, return and refund if you are not satisfied.

I ask 300 Eur + postage.

Regards
Stefano

Thanks for reserving for me :) But I have no spare money right now, even though I really do want it! It looks amazing, nice work my friend!

Hello,

the black version, that i have made some months ago, is sold. They are the same but with different colors. This white version (that is like new, except some little scratch on the bottom side) was yellowed and bought here on Amibay, then i have opted to make retrobright on it and not to lack it.

The CD-ROM is at the moment a normal reader by Teac, but i will sell this case with a CD-RW or a DVD-ROM.

Regards
Stefano

I have a question about the keyboard as I see its black.

Were the keys originally from a CDTV?

If not, do you mind me asking where they came from?

They also appear to have labels stuck on them. Are these paper or plastic based labels?

Hello,

it is an A1200 Keyboard, lacked with the right black. Then i have bought in US the stickers, that are black, then i have masked the fonts and i have lacked the borders of the stickers. Otherwise a thin white line was visible at the border of the stickers itself.

Please, dont dismount a CDTV/CD32 keyboard!!!

Stefano

has this been on sale before? i'm sure i've seen it somewhere

You have seen right! but it was another machine.

Hello,

in this pictures you can see how is the CD-ROM attached to the keyboard, and how you can add a SATA HD easily.
On the inside there is valid space to install properly a scandoubler/flickerfixer, a Subway, a Bvision and a Fastata, with the two ROMs socketed with the right parts.

Stefano

Hello,

i add, at the same price, a four IDE adapter and the new LED PCB for the A1200. The IDE adapter come with a new 44pin (20 cm.) cable, an old but working 40 pin cable and a new 40 pin cable with two plugs on the second channel.
The 44 pin cable can be attached directly to the SATA adapter, the old 40 pin cable to the CF adapter and the long white cable to the CDRW.

All is tested and working: some items are new, like the fans, and some are used.

Regards
Stefano

This is simply beautiful, I have two cases like this made by Vibros and I can say is that they are perfect. Of course all the stuff inside those cases has been assembled by him as well, the guy is a specialist.

I was the one that got the black case. Very nice case. Case best fits a IDE-FIX 97 and a Subway USB. I had a tight fit with an Elbox 4xEIDE'99. There is lots of cooling for a Blizzard 603 PPC and plenty of power cable inside to connect an ATX power supply to drive the Blizzard PPC. Just waiting for a Subway USB to complete mine. Also the CDRW / DVD is set to Master on the IDE and cant be changed, so I had to run it on the second IDE. Also Stefano had made very good installation instuctions and came back to me very quickly when I had questions. Highly recomend...
