Blizzard PPC Amiga 1200 in Power Computing tower case. 68040 CPU, not sure what the speed of the PPC or 68040 is, probably the middle specification. 32meg FAST + 2meg CHIP. With SCSI option purchased. Serial port accelerator on clock port. IDE buffer. BVision graphics card. SCSI CD-ROM drive and SCSI CD-RW drive. DIN keyboard included. HDD will be removed.

Has not been powered up for about 20 years, but was used as a daily-driver until that date and worked. Has only been stored indoors. The motherboard, Blizzard card and BVision card are all clean and appear to be in good condition, but I cannot guarantee they will not need recapping. I thought it would not be a good idea to risk powering up in case there are PSU or capacitor issues. There are brown deposits on some cables and horizontal surfaces which appear to be caked dust which I have not attempted to remove since I lack the equipment and skill. Screws for securing the case are missing, but are presumably standard. £1700 £1500 (open to offers), bank transfer. Located in the North East of England. Pickup preferred, posting would be a challenge.

I'm not interested but I just can't help and ask, why don't you simply power it up and see if it is working or not?

I know that sometimes old power supplies can go BANG when turned on after a long time, and the same is true for capacitors. That sort of damage isn't easily repaired. Someone with proper electronics experience can do a proper job of vetting the hardware prior to turning on. Since it worked last time I used it, only these old-age problems could really be an issue.

It also looks like a 040 25mhz CPU on the card. Can't see Rom version and no pic of keyboard you've said is included jut to get an idea if it is yellowed or not but presumably its similar to A2000 Keyboard. The HDD you are removing is it SCSI or 40 way IDE or 44way IDE?

It's just a generic keyboard, not Amiga. I think it is quite yellowed, but I'll take pictures later.

The HDD is 40 way IDE, but it can take 44 way or SCSI drives too.

The ROMS are indeed V3.1

Can you also please reply to my Direct Message thread, this is used for discussing sales.
