Closed A1200 keycaps

So, I acquired a rather forlorn A1200 a few months back. Amongst other things, one of the keycaps was missing. Fortunately, I acquired another keyboard from a job lot of other Amiga goodies, so I wholesale swapped the new keyboard in.

This is the keyboard that's now spare:

Rather than chuck it out, I thought I'd offer up the spare keycaps to any AmiBayers who have broken keyboards. So, if you want any keycaps, let me know. I reckon I can fit a few caps into a jiffy bag and post it within the UK for about 50p.

I'd rather these went to people who actually need them, so please don't greedily declare interest in the whole lot.

Finally, once most of the keys have gone, I'll be left with the bare keyboard. I've not tested it, but it probably still works. Again, this will be available for cost of P&P only (probably about £2 or less within the UK)

The lead time on this is probably a couple of weeks, since I've got a lot on at the moment, but I wanted to get the advert out there, so folks can start declaring interest. Come the start of August, I'll start getting these shipped out.

So, for the time-being, declared interest in the thread will be sufficient. I'll PM you back once I'm ready.

I'm in need of a Capslock key and the white pieces from underneath a Shift key (ie NOT the spacebar or return key ones).

Actually also in need of a few more keys.. Small Retrobriting accident. Doing an A1200 KB and an A500 KB. The same mix in both but the 1200 evaporated almost completely and decided it was so hot today that it warped plastic keys out of shape. Space bar is awful. Havent assayed completed damage yet but also killed my A500 space bar which was in with the A1200 stuff. Thank god the rest of the A500 keys survived (I think)

OK, I'm ready to start going on this one. If the folks who've declared interest can PM me their addresses, I'll get the keys sent out to you!

HeZoR: You're first in line for the membrane, but I won't be able to do much about that until I've dispatched most of the keys. Don't worry, I will get round to you.

I'll ship these anywhere on the planet, so long as you're prepared to cover the costs of postage. Even internationally, a jiffy bag with some keys shouldn't come to more than a couple of quid.

They're technically still available, but looking at my track-record so far, I wouldn't hold out much hope.

I just haven't the time to deal with this right now. Probably best if I close the thread right now and maybe try again later if and when I have more time.
