Howdy Folks!

Thought I'd share some hardware pr0n with my Ami-buddies :ninja:

I got my A1200 Motherboard back from Mike a few days back repaired and re-capped. What better way to test it out than whack a whole bunch of exotic hardware on it

No story to this one, just enjoy the pics

Flawless mate, very impressed

Thanks again! I have a feeling a few more boards will be coming your way if you have time!

Did you do an A4000 yet? I want to get my RevD done before I get another CSPPC...

My friend here in Kent is going to sell me his CSPPC that was upgraded by Stachu :ninja:

Hi Steve , yeah done 2 4000s now.

and ive always got time for you bud.

mike.

The mind boggles at how much hardware you must own and it's not even the cheap stuff!

Is That an IDE 4 Way adaptor in there?

I reckon using a 44pin Disk on module would save a lot of space, no cables etc :-)

Robert.

Hi steve is the IDE working ok now? i checked the power and it all seemed fine.

mike

Thanks guys :)

Here's some more pics that I posted in the 'what did you buy thread' relevant to this project - I got a new Monitor today, well I say new it was very cheap in Cash Converters so I snapped it up.

It's only VGA but gives a really nice picture with my BVison/CGX4, I'm also going to see how it handles the Indi AGA MkII on my CD32.

I don't normally got in those 'cash converter' type shops but I guess you can find a few gems amongst the PSP's and Mobile Phones :ninja:

Cute little screen mate !

What's the size and the native resolution ?

... Edit: also, forgot to ask : is it OS4 or just the icons of OS4 ? Looks superb, anyway...

Hi Mate, It's 18in (I think) and native resolution is 1366x768

Just a shame it don't accept DVI :(

The Icons are Kens Icons V3, they are OS4 Style Icons, using AfA_OS to display them in OS3.9

You're welcome & thanks everyone for the kins words :)

I'm just trying to decide now if I should fit this all inside an A1000 case (I think that would be a cool project)

I don't really want to mod this mint A1200 case but I do have a yellow one I could paint or retr0bright :ninja:

If we ever see that big yellow ball of fire in the sky again I might give retr0brighting a go!
