Well some positive news, it seems to be booting and running in RTG reliably now however its still crashing with Warp3D.
I'm tempted to set it up with a Radeon 9250 as a true dual boot system with OS4.1 Classic (although it may still crash as that uses 3D hardware rendering) I'm going to test that now!
It was working before so I'm certain it's not a software issue.
I'm making the decision this is the last expensive exotic Amiga hardware I buy though, no more lol...

Well making some progress here 
For testing OS4.1 Classic I removed all cards and replaced with Radeon 9250 PCI Graphics Card and Realtek 8029AS NIC.
OS4.1 Classic up and running after a few ups 'n' downs. My UW SCSI HDD died which had OS4.1 Classic installed on it

I had a backup on the PC so I setup a spare IDE drive with SFS and copied everything over, good news is that after sorting out the Monitor drivers it's working fine:
Hardware transparency working too:

Quake runs really well
But not quite as well as Wipeout 2097, keep watching for a little click around the OS after the race

Not everything thought it would seem, Wipeout2097 is working fine!

Thanks bud, she's running really well now - still need to work out why Warp3D stuff crashes in OS3.9 but everything else is fine now.
I double checked all envarc settings, etc, all is fine so I'm a little stumped. :tumble
