Okay - I've unloaded my Bank Account on my A1200 -

40.68 Roms, IDE-CF 4GB HD, EasyADF, EasyNet, A1230 Turbo+ w/2x4MB Ram.

Today I installed my new Scan Doubler/Flicker Fixer, the Indivision MK2cr - using BBlank and HighGFX40_6 to use 1024x768 on my NEC Multisync LCD monitor - I get vertical bars on screen.

Can anyone suggest a fix / solution?

Cheers,
Karyn

Are you using VGA or DVI to connect to your monitor? I had similar but horizontal bars with VGA. Over DVI (and now DVI to HDMI) crystal clear image... except...

The typical HighGFX artefacts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2tqWEFOAkY
They started to happen after the A1200 had warmed up. Then I had the motherboard "fixed"with this resistor hack: https://www.amibay.com/showthread.php?8386-Indivision-Resistor-Hack. Unfortunately it didn't fix it totally. The effect was reversed, only artefacts after turning on the A1200. They dissapear after the computer has warmed up.

PROBLEM SOLVED Just bought a new DVI cable - and bing bang boom it works just fine - though the heads up you mentioned are most appreciated.

I'm actually using DVI-VGA - was just about to pop off and get a DVI-DVI ...

And I get the 'vertical bars' from power-on and cycling through all the resolutions - so in other words, it's there from the moment I flick the switch ... Possibly from the conversion from DVI to VGA?

Here's a pic from power-on -
