Hello,
Has anyone ever determined the color of the face plate for an A2000? Granted there are numerous shades due to aging conditions. I'm looking for the original color, ideally something in a hex format. If you use a 3D printer and know a close color for your PLA/PETG I'd also be interested. In the pic attached I thinking A2000s number 2+4 are close to original color, 1+5 are slightly aged.

Number 3 is just a super weird A2000 I picked up, I don't know if it is just unique, super early, or what. Even the metal case is a different color than the rest.

Thanks!

Behr Livingston N330-5 is a very close color. It converts over to Hex 9DA17E . This is an easy starting point. Just go to Home Depot/Lowe's (in the US) and grab the color card and see where your case is. With this color, ask to mix with a satin base to get a little bit shine to it. I didn't see the slight shine until looking at it in different light sources.

Remember, case colors age differently based on their environment. I've include some data I've found on the topic. If you think your case is a little darker, try the 9FA18E.

Color Details
* The Hex color 9DA17E is a dark color, and the websafe version is hex 999966. A complement of this color would be 827EA1, and the grayscale version is 9C9C9C.
* A 20% lighter version of the original color is D4D8B3, and 696E4D is the 20% darker color.
* If you saturate the color by 10%, you get 9BA16E, and if you desaturate by 10%, it is 9FA18E.

Using the custom color, not the Livingston color, here are some samples. One has a single coat of paint, the second has 2 coats (it should be obvious which is which). Also the Behr custom color. I printed this at 30% draft mode. I was wondering if I put on a heavy second coat would that hide the lines, it does not.

Also, if you 3D print here's a fun thing. My test print of PLA at 30% in the sun for an hour or so to dry at 47C/117F.
