Monitor was received last week but arrived damaged, contacted the seller for permission to open the monitor to see if there was anything obvious which he granted, found that the main PCB is cracked, which I forwarded pictures to the seller but have not had a response (seller has been online after the messages were sent)

My last post was on the 2nd of April (#25) and he was online on the 3rd, but still no message here or for my mails. It would be really nice if he will do so. I paid such a long time ago and I am still waiting.

In his thread here an interested party said he is having problems due to the lockdown and cant ship anything but this is months ago. Not sure what happened since or why it shows his user online 5/20. Just info. He has no activity in any threads recently that I can see.

We understand that he is in "Lockdown" like most of us in the world, but it the lack of/nonexistent acknowledgement to these issues is the main problem, if there was no access to the forum it would be very understandable but the fact that his profile states he has accessed the site makes it worse.
IMO If he has time to access the site he has time to send a quick message, even if it says I will sort this out when the lockdown has eased.

I've have giving petraiello more than adequate time to respond to my PM's to sort this issue out, I always try and sort out issues but when the seller stops replying to messages after I have PM'd petraiello pictures of the damage what more can I do, its a shame really but sadly negative feedback left.

If you have purchased an item form this thread and have not received the goods you either need to put in a claim against the company you made the payment with or at least report the thread.

and still no message. I made the mistake to pay with paypal f&f, because I trusted him. Now the money is gone and I haven't received my item. He has time to be online, but is not able to send a short mail or pm? If he has problems, ok I can understand it, this time is hard for us all, but then tell me how he wants to solve it. It is such a long time ago and of course I want my board asap, but I can wait a little longer (not forever). Again, it is not ok to take the money and play dead. This is a crime.

Is it possible to freeze his account, that he can only contact you? I mean if he was online, what would he do during his visits?

freezing his account will just take away the ability for him to contact you ( he could say he tried )
but I will discuss the option with the other staff members. We would normally have frozen him already but in these difficult times we air on the side of caution just in case he is actually ill, simply opening his web browser can give the appearance of him visiting the site when in fact when you check his site browsing history is actually empty.
The site visit you look at is not an indication he actually read any post or even the front page just simply his IP ping the site server, could be from an APP on his phone like tap talk.

I tried the mail address from paypal to ask for a refund. It came back with a failure notice. So it seems that it is no longer valid and no chance to get in contact with him again. Really strange... If someone has his post address, please send it to me via pm. I want to send him a nice post card then

Small update. I got another e-mail address of him, but this one is also no longer valid. It seems that he used at least 2 paypal accounts, but I don't know if they are still active. Paypal is not answering questions about them.
