Thanks to the Bruv, I have acquired a sick A 2000. I have big things planned for her

With help from my fellow Amibayans I hope to give her a new coat of paint after a shotblasting the old rusty case and a nice new powder coat paint from a local metal restoration company. I've got a new front bezel coming from here soon as well.

In the mean time her innards will be removed, got a nasty battery to remove, and a cap next to the Paula chip is ready to blow  She came with a A2090 disk controller with boot roms and a memory card and genlock. Need a good clean as the whole thing was stored in someone's garage by the amount of dust, spiders and dead wood lice in the corners

I'm looking for a keyboard if anyone has one in the UK going :D

Will keep you posted on progress and bits I need to buy of you

Pics coming soon

Looks like the motherboard is gonna need some work there :(

Sorry for stating the obvious ;)

Great that you are saving another miggy from eternal death

Well, it lasted for 3 days with intermittent read errors from the floppy and random green screens and now she has spat out the Gary chip :picard

So the next step is to replace all the caps and try Gary from the 500, and it was going so well too  a bit more TLC and touch wood she will live again soon.
