This co-processor board allows you to use a RaspberryPi Zero or Zero 2 SCB as an offload for various tasks in your Amiga with a clock port. It has been tested to work in an Amiga 1200, but could also work with other models that have a clock port. In such case, You may need to adapt the Amiga driver yourself for this to work. See the open source repository at https://github.com/niklasekstrom/a314/tree/clockport_if for more information. The PCB for sale is an alternative design as can be found at https://github.com/Eriond/clockport_pi_interface/.
A 40-pin female header is included with the board, but not solderd on. The header is for those of you that wish to keep your Raspberry SBC removable. If you need help with the soldering, please let me know and I'll do it for you. Note that the complete module won't be as low-profile as shown in the right photo, if you choose to have the header on the board.
Update:
Please note that this PCB is designed to be mounted back-to-back with the RPiZ(2)W ! If you already own a RPiZ(2)W with a pin header, it's likely that the header is mounted on the top, or component, side. That won't work with this version of the A314-cp, as the RPi will then attach upside-down to what is intended. I have done this once myself, and luckily neither of the boards, nor the Amiga was (apparently) damaged at the time. But I would strongly advice against trying this at home!
Update 2:
The first batch of boards has now been sold out. However, I still have a few CPLDs left, and will make a second run of boards soon. That batch will be even smaller, so keep an eye out for them here or when announced on the A314 discord server.
Update 3:
Second batch is now up for grabs. Get them while supplies last.
Final update:
Sold. Thank you for watching.
