The board is a "simple" design, being just 4 chips, a connector (or two ) and some caps. It is a single-side mount, so it suits itself perfectly for automated manufacture. The problem lies in the availability of the central CPLD chip. Right now it's kind of unobtainuim.
I hope this situation will come to an end soon, as it cripples not only this design, but a lot of other modern retro add-ons.
