expansions?

expansions?

Did you start without any expansion card? Never had an A3000, but would start from scratch if I were you..

The A3000D has SCSI built into the mainboard. I don't know if there is a terminator on the motherboard to kill SCSI, but I do know that the SCSI worked fine when I had the machine. What's happening there DC270?

You could to into the early boot menu by holding down both mouse buttons during power up and then boot up from a floppy.

Afair, it is not possible to disable the A3K onboard SCSI & why would you want to diagnose it in such manner?

Nevermind, see the SCSI cd rom thread. I was trying to see if I could just disable it and see if it made a difference whether my 3000 boots or not, almost there though. Lock this so we don't divide posts and clog the forum
