A4000 PPC Bootup problems

I have a A4000, Cyberstorm PPC, KS 3.0 and an IDE CF adaptor and nothing else currently. For some reason its refusing to boot into workbench properly (although WinUAE can do it fine). It simply comes up with a black screen and does nothing else

If I boot with no startup sequence I can get into the harddrive and view all files. Its a very standard startup-sequence and I cant seem to find anything wrong.

Any ideas where to start? Its been a long long time since I played with Amigas and its very frustrating!

Well since the CSPPC wont boot without the correct 060 libs installed (will get stuck in reboot loop with black screen) this is likley your issue.

To test if the PPC is working you must install WarpOS as unlike the Blizzard cards the CS does not have the PPC.library in it's flashrom!

Try something like ADoom PPC or Quake68k as these run on most setups without issues. (can find them on Aminet, you need the PAK/WAD files from the PC versions of the Games however)

It will boot - just not with a startup. I had older versions of the libraries on there (I assume older) but no joy. After hacking out sections of the startup sequence I now get to a point where I am getting "block reuse errors" or similar and a WB with no icons.

If it helps I can setup a cf card or hdd for you with basic drivers?
