I've seen the threads regarding the HDD LED fix for some CD adatpers, but I have an SD35VC0 (IDE to SD adapter) in my A4000, and the HDD LED does not work.
Does anyome have a solution for this by any chance?
Are you able to measure DC voltage between +5v and pin 39 on the IDE connector on the IDE to SD adapter? You should see voltage when accessing the drive (SD card).
If so you could remove the LED cable off the motherboard header and connect +5v via a 330 ohm resistor to the middle pin in the HDD LED cable and pin 39 from the IDE to SD to the outside pin. I did a similar thing on an IDE to SATA converter. I can post picture if that helps?
