A4000D IDE wierd behaviour.

Hi everyone.

How do you get rid of the delay caused by the IDE interface?
I have a harddrive connected to it and was under the assumption it wouldn't have the boot delay then.
Also the harddrive doesn't boot after a reset (ctrl+Amiga+Amiga), only after a full powerdown/up.

Sorry for the ignorance but I haven't used ide devices in amigas before only scsi.

Very wierd you only get this problem on a reset. You could make sure the IDE drive is set to Master?
If you want to trash the A4KD onboard IDE all together, I have a push on device which disables it entirely! Talk to me via PM about this option to keep the thread clear about the issue. :wink:
