Yep, I would like to know this too! My case is a mass of stickers hiding dents and paint chips!@Ordyne
When will this case and front bezel be available?
Pretty much when it’s finished, it has to fit in around everything else I’m afraid.
I’m still here doing stuff in the background, I’m not dead! Here is the latest lash up, loads of things wrong with the 3D printing but it is doing its job and I’m working out the kinks!
Absolutely mind blowing! You my friend are going to make a lot of Amiga dreamers happy! Keep on it and I'll get saving!Pretty much when it’s finished, it has to fit in around everything else I’m afraid.

Same embossed logo on the upper right in this photo;It's interesting how you chose the prototype case design with the Amiga word mark to the right. No complaints here, I just found it unique, As opposed to the final Commodore design which had all the logos on a sticker to the top right, Which I also enjoy. That truly is fabulous work.
This is by far the best project I'm following... happy to help too. You have by details on discord...Pretty much when it’s finished, it has to fit in around everything else I’m afraid.

Does this mean the bezel and door plastics are ahead of the rest of the case parts? Christmas present possibly for the plastics?Pretty much when it’s finished, it has to fit in around everything else I’m afraid.

The case is more working out manufacturing issues, there are slight changes to make but it only things like “this needs to move 1mm to be perfect etc” The bulk of the work is to streamline the case into something that is not a headache to make. Trying to make the finish as best as possible I.E. making spot welds good but not deforming the side of the case, etc etc.Does this mean the bezel and door plastics are ahead of the rest of the case parts? I chose and currently have on loan the front plastic of one of the CBM A4000T engineering samples, same as pictured (or rendered?) here. Unfortunately the Amiga logo was dropped from the case and the black A4000T diamond cut badge. Although the CBM final front IMO was far far better than the Escom one it’s a shame the logo/badge were dropped as I think it looked great.Same embossed logo on the upper right in this photo;
C= Amiga 4000T - bambi-amiga.co.uk
Amazing to actually see this in progress. Thank You doesn't sound like enough!
This is how it it should look irrespective of what the final C= release model was shipped like! With or without the C= 4000T sticker. The Amiga embossed text is the important bit to tie all the models together!OK, now the latest batch of A4000D cases are leaving the building I can get back to this.
With perfect timing Randell Jesup sent me a care package to help out……

Yes that’s an engineering prototype CBM A4000T front cover
I made a steel box for Randell to ship this over to the UK, he really has come through for us to make this dream come alive. This is the original design idea which IMO is better than the one Commodore put into the very short run they did.
Now I can copy the CAD information and fill in the gaps with the actual item. We can also ad in the original design notes 1:1 now this is in hand.
I hope you are excited as I am![]()
This sticker on the released version (below) just isn't as good as the embossed text on the prototype!The case is more working out manufacturing issues, there are slight changes to make but it only things like “this needs to move 1mm to be perfect etc” The bulk of the work is to streamline the case into something that is not a headache to make. I guess you've loaned the exact prototype shown here! Beautiful! Thanks for trying to bring the culmination of Jay Miner's vision and the best of C='s industrial design to fruition!The case is more working out manufacturing issues, there are slight changes to make but it only things like “this needs to move 1mm to be perfect etc” The bulk of the work is to streamline the case into something that is not a headache to make. This is SOOOO much better than the originalView attachment 2542457
This is the front cover I have very kindly been loaned by a legend of a Commodore engineer who has been very helpful towards this project.
I agree though I don't like the sticker on the tinted glass. The glass is a statement and should be free of clutter. There could possibly be a rectangular area printed on the plastic to house the C= A4000T badge like the other models though I think leaving it smooth without any reference to C= is fine too like the tickmark A1000. I'd leave just the debossed Amiga text and offer a sticker as an option. It's not like the Escom A4000T made a fuss of Escom or AT on the front of their model!This is SOOOO much better than the original![]()
