What does this part do?

EDIT: oh: I must learn to use Google more often.
Apparently it's a device that expands the kickstart memory map area from 512kB to 1MB so that the system is compatible with 1MB kickstart ROMs.

So I guess I'm not interested. This post can be deleted!

It gives the ability to A4000 to be able to use 1MB Kickstart ROMS.
By default, A4000 can only use 512KB ROMS splited into 2x 256KB physical EPROMS.
With Romy you can use for example 2x27C400 (512KB) with a custom 1MB ROM.

Is it possible to activate fastrom using a 1MB rom? I ask because most accelerators&software seems to be "hardcoded" to use just 512KB. Will Piru release an updated Blizzkick?
